Hudson Turns Two!!

Look at how precious that boy looks! My goodness I could gush over him all day long! Don't ask where my little blonde came from but I don't care, he's such a cutie! Here's a few shots of him that I got off of facebook from the gal that did his pics! I think they turned out sooo cute! He was obbsessed with the Chickens in the yard so it was really Hard to get some smiles out of him!He wasn't so sure about everyone singing Happy Birthday to him, but once it came to the part where he got to blow out the candle, he really like that! He asked to do it "one more time" Which is his favorite saying of all times! He got a buz lightyear electric four-wheeler that he just loved! Look at that smile! Him and Bridger both want to ride it all the time! Mommy did good on choice of present!!! And then we had our big waterslide bounce house set up for the kids, and they had a blast on that for quite awhile! If water is apart of the equation, my kids are happy!

Snake River 2011

We went to the Snake River this year (yes even with the high water warnings!!) And had a ball! But we wouldn't have done it a week earlier that's for sure! We timed it perfect to where the water was at a decent level and not too big of a risk. Bt let me tell you, I was freaking out! The water was ICE cold, our feet were NUMB! And "lunch counter" was as big as ever! BUT we survived, and made it through, and then went 2 more times! Such a fun experience! Chris was our "boat captain" and steered us through safe and sound!Nate Mindee Holman Abbie and T

Hogle zoo - sex education 101

Well this years trip to the zoo was as fun as it always is: hottest day of the year, crazy kids, and giraffs conceiving right before our eyes! And the boys asking what in the world are they doing??? It was definitely educational and a little more graphic than I would have liked to have seen, I actually think I'm a little scarred from it because I still get visuals from time to time! Anyways, I'm glad I had my wonderful sister Brenda to go with me to help tame my 3 crazy boys! We had a blast!

St. George!!!

Mason being Bridger's little helper hiking at Zions! Mason is soooo good to my kids, we just love him!

Of Course we made it to St. George again this Spring, and this time for 10 days! It was wonderful! The first half was spent with my parents, sister and her kids. And the second half was spent with Abbie, T and their kids! Here is Bridger floating on his own on in a life jacket for the first time! IT was kind of fun! Avery and Cord skipping rocks at Sand Hollow Lake. The sand was absolutely beautiful! No rocks, just dessert sand! Loved it!

Living Planet Aquarium

So April is Autism Awareness Month, and they had a special day and time set aside at the Planet Aquarium for families with kids with Autism. We have been wanting to go for the past 2 months so when I heard about that I was sooo excited! The awesome thing about going somewhere with other familes that are going through the same thing is if your child happens to have one of the all too many meltdowns in public, no one looks at you like your a bad parent with a naughty child. They look at you with understanding. And I'm lucky that I have family and friends that treat us with patience and understanding when we get caught in a situation where Bridger will not let down, or he has a tantrum, so thank you for loving us and the craziness that comes along with us!
Cord's favorite thing was the Sting Rays you could pet. Bridger pretended like he was touching them but he wouldn't really touch them!
Bridger's favorite thing was the penguins, he loved them!

Hudson kept finding the clown fish and yelling NEMO! NEMO!

Grandma and Grandpa Cole came with us and helped keep the rascal contained!

April Catch up!

April has been such an off and on weather surprise! It's driving me nuts! I'm sooo ready to play outside, just as bad as Hudson! Anyways, here are a few fun pics of the boys! Chris went out and built this HUGE fort a couple of weeks ago! Cord thought it was THE coolest thing ever, too bad it was melted by the end of the day...

And yes, that is a gingerbread house. Cord was sooo bored he came upstairs with this spare in hand and asked if we could make, so I said "why not, it's snowing outside!" And as you can see, Hudson couldn't stop eating the candy!

Soccor Star

So apparently I raised a soccer star (in my eyes anyways!) Cord has never played soccer before and we signed him up this year and he's the star player! It's pretty fun to watch! He usually makes half of the goals. Look at this picture, he's such a cheeseball! He knew I was taking his picture so in mid-play he had time to look up and smile!

George and the Missing Puzzle Piece

Have you ever watched Arthur? Well this is a cute cartoon that focuses on teaching children why kids with Aspurgers ( a more mild case of Autism) are different. It definitley doesn't go into a lot of details, but it gives little bit of information that some of the older kids could watch and maybe understand Bridger a little bit more...

BIGGEST LOSER

Uh-huh, yep! That's me with Brett the beautiful trainer from The Biggest Loser of this season! Him and about 12 contestestants from the Biggest Loser were in Logan the past couple of days and last night he came and did a workout at a middle school for who ever heard about it. I was skeptical that it would be some basic little workout for those wanting to learn how, but no! It was tough! He was laying his boxing skills on us straight for an hour and a half! It was sooo much fun! Of course I had to get a pic with the good looking guy! And that is my SIL Jodi that invited me to go along with her. Thank you!And a few of the favorites Moses and his daughter Kayli! They all did the workout with us. Pretty Fun!And a group shot, minus a few. Justin had just left and I don't know where the others were.

Girls Trip

So am I crazy to say that an annual girls trip is absolutely necessary and unbelievably refreshing and undeniably NEEDED for a Mom to go on???? I just got back from Park City with the girls, and Loved every minute of relaxation, junk food eating, shopping, giggling, hot tubbing, and sleeping in. I shouldn't feel guilty right? I missed my family. But not enough to not go.... I think a trip away is sooo good on the soul. For a mommy to remember that she is more than just a wife, and a mother who cooks, cleans, does homework, & worries. We are Women, Friends, Sisters, who need to feel that sense of nourishment that only comes from other women relationships! I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way, let me know your thoughts on girls trips!?!?!? I know I couldn't survive without them! Wish I had pictures to share!

Our First Tooth Fairy Experience!

So Cord finally lost his first tooth a week ago at 6 and a half. He was starting to feel left out there for awhile because all of his other friends were losing them before him. Anyways, before bed we read "The night before the toothfairy came". It's sooo cute. He went to bed rattling off every amount of money he thought the toothfairy was going to bring him. "May, 10, or 20, or 5, or 1....". Then come 1:30am he comes running in our room telling us he barely closed his eyes and then opened and the toothfairy was sooooo sneaky and put 2 50 cent peices under his pillow. We shewed him back off to bed and he was up the rest of the night like it was Christmas or something! Too Cute! And this is my dear Hudson. Every morning while I'm getting ready, he gets into my underwear/sports bra drawer and strings them over his head and walks around until I pull them off! Not that anyone needs to see a picture of my underoos but I finally caught it on camera and had to share! He seriously is my house terror! He throws everything out of drawers and dumps any bucket of toys. I just can't catch up to this stinker, but I sure love him. Even though he's a terror, he's my sweet little angle that I can't get enough of. He actually got me considering another little bambino not in the near future, but just maybe one day....
